On the 57 lines Cruise Frog tracks, the answer runs from free to about $16. Twenty-five lines pour house wine in the fare. Eight more pour it with lunch and dinner. The other 24 charge by the glass, and 22 lines publish a price.\n\nThe prices below come from each line's bar menu or recent reporting, checked October 18, 2026. They are the cheapest dry red or white by the glass, before any service charge. They feed the line picker in Cruise Frog's [drinks package calculator](https://crusiefrog.com/drinks-package-calculator), which uses them to work out how many drinks make a package pay for itself.\n\n<https://crusiefrog.com/drinks-package-calculator>\n\n## What a glass costs on lines that price in dollars","textStyle":"body","layout":"text"},{"role":"htmltable","html":"<table><tr><th>Line</th><th>Glass of house wine</th></tr><tr><td>Royal Caribbean</td><td>$9</td></tr><tr><td>Virgin Voyages</td><td>$9</td></tr><tr><td>Resorts World Cruises</td><td>$9</td></tr><tr><td>Celebrity Cruises</td><td>$10</td></tr><tr><td>Margaritaville at Sea</td><td>$10</td></tr><tr><td>Disney Cruise Line</td><td>$10.25</td></tr><tr><td>Holland America Line</td><td>$11</td></tr><tr><td>Princess Cruises</td><td>$11</td></tr><tr><td>Norwegian Cruise Line</td><td>$12</td></tr><tr><td>Cunard</td><td>$12 (175 ml)</td></tr><tr><td>Carnival Cruise Line</td><td>$12.50</td></tr><tr><td>MSC Cruises</td><td>$14</td></tr></table>","layout":"text"},{"role":"body","format":"markdown","text":"The gap matters for a drinks package. At $9 a glass, a $75-a-day package needs more than 8 glasses a day to pay off. At $14, it needs 6. Check the [break-even math](https://crusiefrog.com/news/cruise-drinks-package-break-even-how-many-drinks-a-day) before you buy.\n\n## The lowest and highest prices\n\nLines that price in euros, pounds or kroner sit at both ends. A glass costs about $4.48 on Star Clippers and about $16.25 on Hurtigruten, at October 2026 exchange rates. The pour size varies too. Cunard's $12 glass is 175 ml. Hapag-Lloyd's cheapest pour on Europa 2 is a 100 ml glass, and AIDA's is 200 ml.\n\n## Where wine is in the fare\n\nMany luxury, expedition and river lines include house wine in the fare. They include Azamara, Crystal, Explora Journeys, Regent Seven Seas, Seabourn, Silversea, Ponant, Lindblad Expeditions, Quark Expeditions, Tauck and Uniworld. TUI Cruises and Marella Cruises include it too. On these lines, check what a package would add beyond the house pour before buying one.\n\nEight lines pour wine with lunch and dinner, but not at other times. They are AIDA, AmaWaterways, American Cruise Lines, Avalon Waterways, Emerald Cruises, Fred. Olsen and both Viking lines. On these, count only the drinks you would order outside meals.\n\n## When a line does not publish a price\n\nSome lines do not post bar prices, and Cruise Frog found no recent report for a few. Costa, Oceania, Havila Voyages and Windstar are among them. For these, the calculator starts blank and you enter what you expect to pay. You can do the same on any line if you mostly drink cocktails or beer.\n\n## What the price leaves out\n\nThese are menu prices before any service charge. Lines that add a service charge add it to each drink, so the bill on board will be higher. The calculator handles this if you enter both the drink price and the package price the same way, with or without the charge.\n\nThe house pour is also the cheapest glass on the menu. Better wines by the glass cost more, cocktails usually cost more, and beer and soft drinks usually cost less. If wine is not your drink, change the starting price to what you order most.\n\nFor lines that price in euros, pounds or kroner, the dollar figures are a guide at October 2026 exchange rates. Bar menus also change during the year, so treat these as a starting point, not a quote.\n\n## Use it on your own site\n\nThe drinks package calculator is free to embed on a cruise blog or site, with no ads or tracking. Open the panel under the calculator to [copy the code](https://crusiefrog.com/drinks-package-calculator).\n\nSource: each line's bar menu or recent reporting, as listed on Cruise Frog's [drinks package calculator](https://crusiefrog.com/drinks-package-calculator), checked October 18, 2026. Prices in other currencies use October 2026 exchange rates. Menus change, so check the line's own price before you sail.\n\n## Related reading\n\n* [Cruise drinks packages: a $75-a-day package needs 6 drinks a day to pay for itself](https://crusiefrog.com/news/cruise-drinks-package-break-even-how-many-drinks-a-day)\n* [Carnival's wine allowance and corkage charge answer different questions](https://crusiefrog.com/news/carnival-wine-allowance-corkage-dinner-budget)\n* [Carnival's new FunPacks bundle drinks, Wi-Fi and dining from $25 a day](https://crusiefrog.com/news/carnival-funpacks-october-30-2026-dynamic-pricing)","textStyle":"body","layout":"text"}]}
