Children’s eligibility and programs
Consult Scenic’s current FAQs and the passenger contract that applies to your booking country and itinerary. Regional guidance has differed, so this guide does not impose a universal minimum age from an older brochure.
Planning the trip together
For a river voyage, ask whether the excursion schedule and walking levels suit your child. For a yacht or expedition, check boat transfers and age limits on optional activities independently from the cruise’s entry requirements. Confirm supervision and the cabin’s extra-bed options directly. If a particular activity is central to your child’s interest, get its eligibility in writing before making a non-refundable booking.
What to check with Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours
- Confirm age acceptance under the relevant contract.
- Check activity limits separately from boarding.
- Ask directly about care and cabin occupancy.
Before paying a family cruise deposit
- Give the line each child’s age on embarkation day and the exact itinerary before paying a deposit.
- Confirm a bed for every guest, cot availability, and any connecting-cabin arrangement in the booked category.
- Check passports, visas and consent documents for children travelling with one parent or another guardian.
- Ask about club registration, independent toilet use, care hours, fees and age or height limits on activities.
Age rules, programs and availability can change. The cruise line’s current terms for your booking and departure govern your trip.
