Cruising with children on SeaDream Yacht Club

A SeaDream family trip should be planned around the experience of a small yacht. Choose it for time together, with the child’s needs checked directly against the sailing’s arrangements.

Children’s eligibility and programs

SeaDream’s FAQ includes its children’s policy. Ask the line to confirm the child’s acceptance, cabin sleeping arrangements and any supervision services for your departure; this guide does not claim a verified universal age threshold.

Planning the trip together

Consider how your child would enjoy a quieter onboard setting and visits by small-boat transfer. Request details of age or swimming requirements for watersports before making them a central promise of the trip. Verify how a third guest is accommodated and whether another stateroom is needed. If adults want time alone, resolve the care arrangements before booking rather than assuming hotel-style babysitting.

What to check with SeaDream Yacht Club

  • Confirm age acceptance with the yacht line.
  • Check transfer and watersports requirements.
  • Verify extra beds and any available care.

Before paying a family cruise deposit

  • Give the line each child’s age on embarkation day and the exact itinerary before paying a deposit.
  • Confirm a bed for every guest, cot availability, and any connecting-cabin arrangement in the booked category.
  • Check passports, visas and consent documents for children travelling with one parent or another guardian.
  • Ask about club registration, independent toilet use, care hours, fees and age or height limits on activities.

Age rules, programs and availability can change. The cruise line’s current terms for your booking and departure govern your trip.
