1893 Ambassador is Hurtigruten's loyalty program, with 2 tiers from Level 1 to Level 2.
Overview
1893 Ambassador is Hurtigruten's free loyalty program, named after the year the coastal route began. Anyone can join online, whether or not they have sailed, and there is no physical card: the member number and level appear in the welcome email and at the top of the monthly newsletter. There are two levels. Members quote their number when booking voyages or excursions to receive the discounts, which are applied at the final booking step.

Free sign-up; no travel required.
Free Wi-Fi on board, a welcome gift in the cabin and 5% off excursions booked before travel or on board. Partner offers include 10% off the Helly Hansen online shop and Bracenet, CEWE and Waterhaul products, up to 20% off Priority Pass membership, 15% off Strawberry hotels in the Nordics and Baltics, 20% off Lofoten Seaweed Salts and discounted Wanderlust magazine subscriptions.
Level 2
Complete a Hurtigruten voyage of three or more consecutive nights; the upgrade is automatic about 24 hours after travel.
Everything in Level 1, plus 5% off all Hurtigruten voyages and 5% off Hurtigruten Svalbard hotels and activities. Partner discounts rise to 20% at Helly Hansen, 12% on Bracenet, 15% on CEWE and 20% on Waterhaul products.
How you earn
There are no points. New members start at Level 1 and are upgraded to Level 2 automatically about 24 hours after completing a Hurtigruten voyage of three or more consecutive nights; travelers who already meet that test start at Level 2. Membership depends on receiving the program's emails: unsubscribing ends the benefits, and a member who rejoins starts again at the entry level.
