Britannia Club is Saga Cruises's loyalty program, with 5 tiers from Bronze to Diamond.
Overview
The Britannia Club is Saga's loyalty program for guests who have spent more than 35 nights on its ships. Membership is free and automatic, and its five levels, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Sapphire and Diamond, add benefits from exclusive offers and a dedicated booking line up to longer chauffeur journeys and free cruises.
Tiers
Bronze
35 to 74 nights with Saga.
Exclusive offers on selected cruises, priority brochure mailings, a dedicated Britannia Club booking line, a welcome bottle of sparkling wine, a luggage label, a regular newsletter, an onboard cocktail party and a Bronze lapel pin.
Silver
75 to 149 nights.
All Bronze benefits, a silver-colored lapel pin and 5% off selected items bought on board.
Gold
150 to 499 nights.
All Silver benefits, a gold-colored pin, complimentary laundry and dry cleaning, and 7.5% off selected onboard purchases.
Sapphire
500 to 999 nights.
All Gold benefits, a pin set with a sapphire, 10% off selected onboard purchases, private chauffeur service extended to 300 miles each way, a private cocktail party for up to 16 people each cruise (or £100 onboard credit per household), and one half-price cruise of up to 16 nights for the member and a friend on selected sailings.
Diamond
More than 1,000 nights.
All Sapphire benefits, a pin set with a diamond, a free cruise of up to 22 nights, immediate embarkation where travel arrangements allow, unlimited chauffeur mileage, a complimentary cabin upgrade, advance telephone notice of new itineraries, and a private dinner with the Captain or a senior officer once per cruise. Above 1,500 nights members get 35% off the full fare when choosing a cabin at booking, and above 2,000 nights 50% off.
How you earn
Status is based on nights spent aboard Saga's ocean ships and, since 2023, its river ships (Spirit of the Rhine, Spirit of the Danube, Spirit of the Moselle, Douro Serenity and, from 2027, Spirit of the Lorelei). Benefits of a level apply once the cruise that crosses its threshold is completed. Nights on flights or hotel extensions do not count. To keep membership, guests must book direct with Saga and cruise at least once every 10 years. Members who introduce a newcomer get 10% off their next cruise, and the friend gets 10% off too.
