Carnival Rewards is Carnival Cruise Line's loyalty program, with 4 tiers from Red to Diamond.
Overview
Carnival Rewards is Carnival Cruise Line's loyalty program, launched on 1 September 2026 to replace the VIFP Club. Members collect two currencies: Points, which can be redeemed toward future cruises, shore excursions, specialty dining and spa treatments, and Status Qualifying Stars, which set the member's tier. A separate Milestones program rewards days sailed, from the 50th day to the 500th and beyond, with a reward on the cruise where each milestone falls. Status earned in the VIFP Club carried over: guests who reached VIFP Diamond by 31 August 2026 keep Diamond for life, and VIFP Platinum members receive lifetime Gold plus a 10,000-star boost each two-year cycle. A co-branded Carnival Rewards Mastercard earns extra points and stars.
Tiers
Red
On enrollment (0 to 9,999 Status Qualifying Stars).
Earn and redeem points; member-only offers; Red member Sail & Sign card; a complimentary 1.5-liter bottle of water.
Gold
10,000 to 49,999 Status Qualifying Stars in a two-year window. VIFP Platinum members receive lifetime Gold.
Everything in Red, plus Gold member support, a Gold member Sail & Sign card and one complimentary drink on cruises of five days or more.
Platinum
50,000 to 99,999 Status Qualifying Stars in a two-year window.
Platinum member support and Sail & Sign card; a collectible pin; two complimentary drinks; a 1.5-liter bottle of water; preferred main dining and specialty dining times; complimentary wash and fold laundry (1 to 4 bags). Priority access: early online check-in (16 days), priority check-in, security (where available), Captain's Lounge (where available), boarding and checked-luggage delivery; onboard priority for carry-on drop-off, Guest Services, the casino cashier and spa reservations; priority tender boarding and debarkation. Also a welcome treat on request on cruises of five days or more, $5 arcade credit for guests under 18 and a logo gift on every sailing.
Diamond
100,000 or more Status Qualifying Stars in a two-year window. VIFP Diamond members who qualified by 31 August 2026 hold Diamond for life.
Everything in Platinum, plus a special event invitation from the captain; dedicated Diamond member support for sales and service; a Diamond Sail & Sign card; a guaranteed main dining time (early or late, dinner); complimentary wash and fold laundry (2 to 5 bags); retail concierge service; and a dedicated casino host on request.
How you earn
Members earn 3 Points and 3 Status Qualifying Stars for every US dollar spent on eligible Carnival purchases, including gratuities. Each Casino Point left at the end of a sailing converts to 1 Point, and each Casino Point earned adds 1 Star. Points post about 14 days after the cruise ends. Status is earned over a two-year qualifying window and held for the rest of that window plus the following two years; the first window runs from 1 September 2026 to 31 December 2028. The Carnival Rewards Mastercard adds up to 6 points per dollar on Carnival purchases and up to 4 stars.
