Castaway Club is Disney Cruise Line's loyalty program, with 4 tiers from Silver to Pearl.
Overview
The Castaway Club is Disney Cruise Line's program for past guests. Membership starts automatically after a first completed Disney cruise, and members move through four levels, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Pearl, according to how many eligible Disney cruises they have completed. The benefits are mostly about getting in first: booking newly released itineraries before the general public and reserving onboard activities, dining and port adventures earlier than first-time guests, with dining and photo perks at the top levels.
Tiers
Silver
1 completed eligible Disney Cruise Line sailing.
An early-booking window for newly released itineraries ahead of the general public (the latest of the four levels); onboard activities, dining and port adventures can be reserved 90 days before sailing, compared with 75 days for first-time guests.
Gold
5 completed eligible Disney Cruise Line sailings.
Earlier access to new itineraries than Silver; activity, dining and port adventure reservations open 105 days before sailing.
Platinum
10 completed eligible Disney Cruise Line sailings.
Earlier access to new itineraries than Gold; activity reservations open 120 days before sailing; one complimentary dinner per stateroom per sailing at Palo, Palo Steakhouse or Palo Trattoria for the member and guests in their stateroom (the prix fixe menu, or its value toward a la carte items; gratuities and anything above that value are extra).
Pearl
25 completed eligible Disney Cruise Line sailings.
New itineraries open to Pearl members 4 days before general sale; activity reservations open 123 days before sailing; Castaway Club member communications and a dedicated phone line; exclusive terminal check-in where available; a Welcome Back Aboard gift; special discounts; the complimentary Palo dinner; and an unlimited digital photo package for the member's stateroom and other Pearl members in the same party. Members who reach 50 eligible sailings are invited to have their family name displayed at Castaway Cay.
How you earn
There are no points; levels depend on completed eligible Disney Cruise Line sailings. Silver begins after 1 completed cruise, Gold after 5, Platinum after 10 and Pearl after 25. Sailings booked at certain fare types, such as media, vendor or Cast Member business travel, do not count. Everyone in a stateroom receives the benefits of the highest-level member staying in it. Membership lapses if a member does not book or complete an eligible cruise within five years of the last one.
