How you earn
Members earn bonus miles per night on board: 360 a night on Europa and Europa 2 and 300 a night on the Hanseatic expedition ships, credited for cruises booked with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises as tour operator; reduced or special fares earn none. From 1 January 2026, Silver fare bookings earn half the normal rate. Miles convert to onboard credit at 700 miles for €50 (for drinks, internet, laundry up to €100 per trip, spa and hair services, personal training and golf lessons) or can be used for premium offers such as free or discounted cruises and upgrades. Miles stay valid as long as members sail again within five years. Joining on board earns miles for that cruise, and joining within four weeks after a cruise credits it retroactively.
