Mariner Society is Holland America Line's loyalty program, with 5 tiers from 1-Star Mariner to 5-Star Mariner.
Overview
The Mariner Society is Holland America Line's loyalty program. Guests are enrolled automatically after their first completed cruise, with no registration, and benefits start on the second cruise. Status is based on Cruise Day credits earned from days sailed, suite bookings and onboard spending, across five levels from 1-Star to 5-Star Mariner. Members also get special Mariner fares, a 'Mariner Cocktail' voucher and a collectible gift on each cruise, and onboard credit of up to US$400 per stateroom when they book within 90 days of a new season's launch.
Tiers
1-Star Mariner
One completed Holland America cruise (automatic enrollment).
Up to US$400 onboard credit per stateroom on cruises booked within 90 days of a new season launch; a collectible gift; a 'Mariner Cocktail' voucher; 50% off fares for third and fourth guests and free fares for kids on request (voyages of 14 days or fewer, not cruisetours).
2-Star Mariner
30 Cruise Day credits.
All 1-Star benefits, plus a complimentary photo of the ship and 10% off select Holland America logo clothing.
3-Star Mariner
75 Cruise Day credits.
All 2-Star benefits, plus discounts on select spa treatments, the Mariner Society welcome reception, and 25% off Sommelier Suite wine packages, specialty restaurant surcharges at Pinnacle Grill, Tamarind and Canaletto (and specialty coffees), and mini-bar purchases.
4-Star Mariner
200 Cruise Day credits.
Onboard credit offer, gift, cocktail voucher, ship photo, spa discounts and welcome reception, plus 50% off Sommelier Suite packages, specialty restaurant surcharges and mini-bar purchases; a complimentary regional wine tasting; complimentary laundry and pressing; priority check-in, tendering and disembarkation; free fares for third and fourth guests on request (voyages of 14 days or fewer); 15% off select logo clothing; and 25% off the per-person surcharge at Rudi's Sel de Mer.
5-Star Mariner
500 Cruise Day credits.
All 4-Star benefits, plus two complimentary dinners at Pinnacle Grill, Tamarind or Canaletto, a day pass to the Greenhouse Spa thermal suite once per cruise, and up to US$30 credit toward an internet package.
How you earn
One Cruise Day credit for each day sailed (each night aboard counts); on Alaska cruisetours, land days count too. Paying a published fare for a suite or penthouse doubles the credits. One bonus credit is added for each US$300 of eligible onboard spending on the booking, up to one bonus day per day sailed, for the first two guests in the stateroom. Past Holland America cruises count toward status.

No status match is published. Guests who have sailed with Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Cunard, Seabourn or Costa are enrolled as 1-Star Mariners when they make their first Holland America booking.
