MSC Voyagers Club is MSC Cruises's loyalty program, with 6 tiers from Welcome to Blue Diamond.
Overview
MSC Voyagers Club is MSC Cruises' free loyalty program, which rewards repeat guests with member fares, onboard perks and priority services that grow with each tier. Since a November 2024 refresh anyone can join without a booking, U.S. residents who book through MSC's U.S. channels are enrolled automatically, and membership stays valid as long as the member sails at least once every five years. The program has six levels, from Welcome to Blue Diamond.
Tiers
Welcome
Entry level on joining. Anyone can sign up, with or without a booking.
Immediate access to MSC Voyagers Selection departures with member discounts of up to 20 percent, and member offers.
Classic
Reached with points earned on MSC cruises; MSC publishes the threshold on its program page.
Member discounts on cruise bookings (at least 5 percent under the 2022 rules, with more for early bookings), plus a welcome-back cocktail on board and the member newsletter, as MSC described the tier in 2019.
Silver
Reached with more points than Classic; MSC publishes the threshold on its program page.
Classic benefits plus a complimentary fruit basket and onboard credit on selected departures (2019 description). Under the 2022 rules Silver, Gold and Diamond members booking at least nine months ahead received an extra discount and 50 euros or dollars of onboard credit.
Gold
Reached with more points than Silver; MSC publishes the threshold on its program page.
Silver benefits plus a one-hour visit to the thermal area of the MSC Aurea Spa, gifts, and priority disembarkation at tender ports, as MSC described the tier in 2019.
Diamond
Reached with more points than Gold; it has also been available through status match. Called Black Card until September 2019.
Gold benefits plus, as MSC described them in 2019: prosecco and strawberries in the cabin, bathrobe and slippers, a tasting-menu dinner for two in a specialty restaurant, a dance class, a chocolate ship model, late check-out, priority disembarkation and a members' party on board. Diamond and Blue Diamond members get the highest priority for cabin upgrades when available.
Blue Diamond
Top tier, added in November 2024. Reached only with points earned sailing with MSC, not through status match.
All Diamond benefits plus flexible check-in with priority embarkation and luggage drop-off at the MSC Yacht Club desk, My Choice dining at any time during main-restaurant hours, a free browsing Wi-Fi package for one device, free shuttle bus tickets in selected ports, a meet-and-greet with the captain or an officer, and priority access to tender boats.
How you earn
Members earn points on every MSC cruise. The amount depends on the cabin category or experience booked, the length of the cruise and spending on onboard services and purchases, whether booked ahead or on board, so a Yacht Club suite earns more than a standard cabin. MSC has offered bonus points at various times, such as double points for bookings made at least 12 months before departure and tripled points for a full MSC World Cruise. Points accumulate toward the next tier; MSC publishes the exact thresholds on its Voyagers Club page.
Status match
MSC runs a status match program: members of other cruise, hotel or tour-operator loyalty programs can apply for a matching Voyagers Club tier. The top Blue Diamond tier cannot be reached through status match, only by sailing with MSC.
