Virgin Voyages Sailing Club

Virgin Voyages Sailing Club is Virgin Voyages's loyalty program, with 3 tiers from Sailing Club to Deep Blue Extras.

Overview

The Sailing Club is Virgin Voyages' program for returning guests, whom the line calls Sailors. Anyone who has completed one eligible paid voyage is enrolled automatically, and perks grow with the number of voyages sailed: Blue Extras arrive on a member's third voyage and Deep Blue Extras on the fifth. Members also earn Virgin Points in Virgin Red, the Virgin Group's rewards program, when they sail.

Tiers

Entry tier first
  1. Sailing Club

One completed eligible paid voyage; enrollment is automatic.

Members-only booking offers sent by email from time to time; voyages begin counting toward Blue Extras.

  2. Blue Extras

Two completed eligible voyages; the perks apply on a member's third and fourth voyages.

Per qualifying Sailor: dedicated Sailing Club support from Sailor Services before and during the voyage, an invitation to a Sailing Club cocktail event, one bag of laundry, and one specialty coffee a day.

  3. Deep Blue Extras

Four completed eligible voyages; the perks apply on the fifth and every later eligible voyage.

A $100 promotional Bar Tab credit, unlimited premium Wi-Fi where available, priority boarding with a dedicated queue (including at Terminal V in Miami), dedicated Sailor Services support, the Sailing Club cocktail event, laundry service (two pressed items, one specialty-cleaned item and one bag), and two specialty coffees a day.

How you earn

There are no points within the club; perks depend on the number of completed eligible voyages. An eligible voyage is a full-fare sailing (Base, Essential and Premium fares count as of October 2025); casino, free access-key, travel-advisor, interline, employee and other reduced-rate bookings neither count nor receive perks. Credit posts 30 days after a voyage ends, so a back-to-back sailing does not pick up a newly earned level. Guests who earned Sea-Blazer or Sea-Rover status before 2024 already have Deep Blue Extras.

Status match

For a limited time Virgin Voyages matches airline, hotel and cruise loyalty status to Blue Extras on the next sailing, with applications accepted through October 31, 2026. The program's terms list accepted levels from programs including Disney's Castaway Club (all levels), Royal Caribbean's Crown & Anchor Society (Diamond and above), Celebrity's Captain's Club (Elite and above), Carnival's VIFP Club (Platinum and Diamond), Norwegian's Latitudes Rewards (Platinum and above), Princess Captain's Circle (Platinum and Elite), Holland America's Mariner Society (3-Star and above), Oceania Club, Azamara Circle, Windstar Yacht Club, P&O's Peninsular Club, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Gold and Virgin Australia Velocity (Gold and above).
