The offer, in plain terms
Scenic Group, which owns Scenic and Emerald Cruises, is marking its 40th anniversary this month. For travelers in the US and Latin America, the birthday comes with a discount. From October 12 to 26, 2026, the code BOOST26 takes an extra $200 per person off select 2026 and 2027 departures, according to Cruise Industry News, which reported the company's announcement on October 13.
The code covers four parts of the group:
- Scenic river cruises: select 2026 and 2027 Rhine and Danube trips, including Gems of the Danube, Danube in Depth, Rhine Highlights, Charming Castles & Vineyards, and both Christmas Markets sailings
- Scenic Discovery Yachts: select 2027 Western Mediterranean departures
- Emerald river cruises: select 2026 and 2027 Rhine and Danube trips, including Danube Delights, Danube Explorer, Jewels of the Rhine, Majestic Rhine and both Christmas Markets sailings
- Emerald Yachts: select Caribbean and Seychelles sailings from November 2026 through March 2027
The word "select" carries a lot of weight here. Not every date on those itineraries qualifies. Ask for the price with and without the code before you commit.
How it compares with earlier deals
BOOST26 is not a new code. Scenic used the same name for a May promotion that took $200 per person off select Danube and Bordeaux trips, according to its travel advisor offers page. That version applied to new bookings only, on departures in a few specific months. Scenic has not said whether the October version carries the same limits, but plan as if it does. If you already hold a booking, ask before you assume the code can be added to it.
The October offer is also smaller than Scenic's summer deal. Over the July 4 week, Scenic and Emerald took $250 per sailing off a wider range of river, yacht and ocean trips booked directly. On a river cruise for two, $200 per person is $400 off. That is useful, but on a luxury sailing it is a modest share of the fare. It is a reason to book a trip you already want, not a reason to pick one.
What else the anniversary brings
The rest of the celebration is mostly for guests already on board or in the loyalty program. Scenic Group says it will hold special dinners, themed entertainment and commemorative events on its ships this month.
Two loyalty departures stand out. The annual Scenic Discovery Yachts Chairman's Voyage in the US includes events in Wilmington, Charleston and Key West. A Scenic Romantic Rhine & Moselle river cruise adds a Switzerland land extension and a dinner in Lucerne hosted by Scenic Group managers.
Founder and chairman Glen Moroney said the company started in Australia in 1986 and now operates on all seven continents. He thanked guests, partners and crews for the group's growth.
New ships on the way
The anniversary arrives in the middle of a building program. Scenic Group says these ships are coming:
- Emerald Lumi on the Seine in 2027
- Scenic Spirit II and Scenic Spirit III on the Mekong in 2028
- Emerald Raiya, a yacht, in 2027
- Emerald Xara and Scenic Ikon, both ocean ships, in 2028
None of them is part of the BOOST26 offer. The code applies only to trips on ships already sailing.
Should you book now?
If one of the listed itineraries is already on your shortlist, the code is worth using before October 26. Book through a travel advisor or directly, and confirm in writing that the $200 appears on your invoice. If you are still comparing lines, look at our ratings for Scenic and Emerald Cruises first. A $200 discount should not decide between two very different ships.
