About AIDAblu
AIDAblu is a 71,304-ton ship delivered by Meyer Werft in February 2010, the first of a slightly enlarged group of Sphinx-class ships with an extra half deck and room for 2,192 guests. It was the first cruise ship with its own onboard brewery, and it has six restaurants and ten bars. The name had been used before, for an earlier AIDA ship that sailed from 2004 to 2007. AIDAblu spends its summers on Eastern Mediterranean cruises from Corfu to Greece, Malta, Italy and Turkey, and winter 2026-27 on Canary Islands and Madeira cruises from Las Palmas, with Indian Ocean cruises from Mauritius planned for the next winter.
