About Carnival Firenze
Carnival Firenze was built by Fincantieri at Marghera as Costa Firenze, delivered in December 2020 and first sailed for Costa in July 2021; she was meant for China but never went there. Carnival took her over in February 2024 after a 42-day refit at Cádiz, and she debuted from Long Beach that April as the second Fun Italian Style ship. She carries about 4,100 guests, and Florence shapes the interiors: the Piazza Duomo atrium, the Michelangelo and Medici dining rooms, the Il Mercato market and the Rococó bar. In 2027 she moves from Long Beach to Miami, then New York for summer, with South America sailings, before a Port Canaveral season.
