About Carnival Imagination
Carnival Imagination was a Fantasy-class ship that sailed for Carnival from 1995 to 2020, named Imagination until 2007. In her final years she ran three- and four-day cruises from Long Beach, California, to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico. Carnival laid her up in July 2020 as it shrank the fleet during the pandemic, and she left the United States for the last time on 27 August 2020, bound for Aliağa, Turkey. She was beached there in September 2020 and waited until February 2023 for scrapping to begin.
