About Carnival Liberty
Carnival Liberty is a Conquest-class ship built by Fincantieri at Monfalcone and christened in Civitavecchia in July 2005 by actress Mira Sorvino. She was the first Carnival ship with the Seaside Theater, a large LED screen by the midship pool, and the first to receive parts of the Fun Ship 2.0 upgrade program. She carries about 2,970 guests. A comprehensive dry dock completed in July 2025 added a Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, new WaterWorks slides, mini-golf and a refreshed Cloud 9 Spa. She sails Western Caribbean and Bahamas cruises from New Orleans.
