About Carnival Sensation
Carnival Sensation was a Fantasy-class ship built in Finland that entered service as Sensation in November 1993 and took the Carnival prefix in 2007. She sailed from Florida to the Bahamas and the Caribbean, including four- and five-night cruises from Miami from 2016. Her last passenger cruises came in March 2020, when the pandemic halted operations; a planned move to Mobile, Alabama, never happened. Carnival announced her retirement in February 2022, and after a reported US$11 million sale she left Miami for the scrapyards at Aliağa, Turkey, on 18 March 2022.
