About Carnival Spirit
Carnival Spirit was the first Spirit-class ship to join Carnival, delivered from Kværner Masa-Yards in Helsinki in 2001. At about 88,500 gross tons with around 2,120 guests, she is a mid-sized ship with a domed pool, a WaterWorks area with the Green Thunder slide, mini-golf and a two-deck fitness center. From October 2012 she spent several years based in Sydney. A month-long dry dock completed in March 2025 added a Heroes Tribute Bar, a Chef's Table space and a new mini-golf course. She sails Alaska from Seattle in summer and Bahamas cruises from Mobile, Alabama, in the 2026-27 winter, with Tampa and Long Beach seasons announced for later years.
