About Carnival Venezia
Carnival Venezia was built by Fincantieri as Costa Venezia for Costa Cruises' Chinese market and entered service in 2019 as Costa's largest ship, at about 135,200 gross tons with room for 4,200 guests. In 2023 she moved to Carnival, was refitted at the Navantia yard in Cádiz and renamed, becoming the first ship of the Carnival Fun Italian Style concept. Venice inspires her interiors, from the Piazza San Marco atrium and the Teatro Rosso theater to Il Viaggio, Tomodoro and the Amari cocktail bar. She sails summers from New York and winters from Port Canaveral, and moves to Miami in May 2027.
