About Costa Magica
Costa Magica was a 102,784-ton sister of Costa Fortuna, built by Fincantieri in Genoa and in Costa service from November 2004. It carried about 2,700 guests, and its public rooms and restaurants were themed on Italian places such as Positano, Portofino, Bellagio and Sicily. The ship was sailing the Caribbean in March 2020 when the pandemic stopped cruising, and it did not sail for Costa again; a planned 2022 move to Carnival Cruise Line was called off. Costa sold it to the Greek-Cypriot ferry company Seajets in February 2023, and after several renamings it now sails from Tianjin, China, as Visio.
