About Crystal Esprit

Crystal Esprit was Crystal's small yacht for 62 guests, completed in Germany in 1991 as Aurora I and later sailed by Star Cruises as MegaStar Taurus before being laid up in 2008. Crystal acquired her in 2015 and rechristened her at Eden Island Marina in the Seychelles on December 20, 2015. In September 2021, after reviewing its plans following the pandemic, Crystal announced her sale to Lindblad Expeditions, which renamed her National Geographic Islander II to sail in the Galápagos Islands; she was christened under that name in October 2022.
