About Empress of the Seas

Empress of the Seas sailed for Royal Caribbean from 1990, first as Nordic Empress, and came back to the fleet in 2016 after eight years with Pullmantur Cruises and a dry-dock refit. In her last Royal Caribbean seasons she ran four- and five-night cruises from Miami to the Bahamas, Key West and Grand Cayman, and Cuba voyages planned for 2019 were replaced with other Caribbean ports. She carried her last paying passengers for the line into Miami on 15 March 2020. Royal Caribbean sold her in December 2020 to India's Cordelia Cruises, which sails her as Empress.
