About George Eliot

George Eliot is a 110-metre Riviera Travel ship built in 2018, with 70 cabins for 132 guests and a crew of 36. From the 2027 season Riviera is converting her into what it bills as the world's first river cruise ship exclusively for solo travelers: every departure is solo-only, each guest has a double cabin to themselves, and there is no single supplement. Her itineraries cover the Rhine, Moselle and Dutch waterways, including spring tulip cruises from Amsterdam, as well as the Rhine-Main-Danube journey and Christmas cruises on the Danube.
