About Icon of the Seas
Icon of the Seas, built by Meyer Turku in Finland, entered service from Miami on 27 January 2024 as the largest cruise ship in the world, a title she now shares with her Icon-class sisters. The first LNG-powered ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet, she has 20 decks, seven pools and six water slides, along with new spaces such as the AquaDome and the Pearl, a structural art piece on the Royal Promenade. Soccer player Lionel Messi christened her. She sails Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises from Miami until mid-2027 and then moves to Galveston, Texas.
