About MSC Armonia
MSC Armonia is a Lirica-class ship of about 65,500 gross tons, one of the oldest and smallest vessels in the MSC fleet. She was completed in 2001 as European Vision for Festival Cruises, was chartered that July to accommodate leaders at the G8 summit in Genoa, and joined MSC in 2004 after Festival collapsed. A later renovation under MSC's Renaissance Programme lengthened her to about 275 metres and raised her capacity to roughly 2,700 guests. She has been based in Havana, Miami and Tampa in past seasons; in summer 2026 she sailed Adriatic cruises from Brindisi, and MSC is sending her to South Africa for the 2026-27 season.
