About Navigator of the Seas
Navigator of the Seas entered service in December 2002 as a second-generation Voyager-class ship, with glass-fronted balcony cabins that extend from the hull, and was named by tennis champion Steffi Graf. A 2014 dry dock added 81 cabins and a FlowRider, and a US$115 million refit in January 2019 raised her capacity to about 4,000 guests and her tonnage to 139,999. After several years based in Los Angeles, she now sails from Singapore, mostly on short trips to Penang, Phuket and Langkawi, with occasional voyages to and from Tokyo.
