About Norwegian Getaway
Norwegian Getaway is Norwegian Breakaway's sister, built by Meyer Werft and delivered in January 2014, with about 145,700 gross tons and 3,903 guests at double occupancy. She was christened in Miami on February 7, 2014, with the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders as godmothers, and left on her maiden voyage the next day. Last refurbished in 2024, she has a ropes course, a Kids' Aqua Park, the Skyy Vodka Ice Bar and the Sugarcane Mojito Bar. Through 2027 she sails short Bahamas and Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral and Miami, many calling at Norwegian's private island, Great Stirrup Cay.
