About Norwegian Sky
Norwegian Sky sailed for Norwegian from 1999 to 2026. Her hull was begun in Germany as Costa Olympia for Costa Cruises and left unfinished when the Bremer Vulkan yard ran into financial trouble; Norwegian bought it, Lloyd Werft in Bremerhaven completed her, and she was the ship that introduced the line's Freestyle Cruising. From 2004 to 2008 she sailed in Hawaii as Pride of Aloha for NCL America before taking back her original name. Under a long-term charter announced in April 2025, she finished her last Norwegian cruise, a Mediterranean voyage ending in Piraeus, on September 9, 2026, and passed to India's Cordelia Cruises, which renamed her Cordelia Sky.
