About Oasis of the Seas

Oasis of the Seas, delivered in October 2009, was the first of the Oasis class, whose ships were the world's largest cruise ships until the Icon class arrived in 2024. Her layout introduced themed neighborhoods such as the open-air Central Park and the Boardwalk, and at her naming she had seven godmothers, one for each neighborhood. Nearly three months in dry dock in 2019 added new attractions. In 2026-27 she sails short Bahamas and Perfect Day at CocoCay cruises from Fort Lauderdale in winter and from Cape Liberty in Bayonne, New Jersey, in summer.
