About Pacific Princess

Pacific Princess was a small R-class ship built in 1999 by Chantiers de l'Atlantique as R Three for Renaissance Cruises. After Renaissance failed, she joined Princess in 2002 and revived the name of the ship from The Love Boat. With about 690 guests and 30,300 gross tons, she was used for long voyages, sailing the Mediterranean in 2019 before a 2020 world cruise cut short by the pandemic. Carnival announced her sale on 21 January 2021; after a spell laid up she has sailed for Azamara as Azamara Onward since 2022.
