About Royal Princess
Royal Princess is the lead ship of the six-ship Royal class and the third Princess ship of the name, built by Fincantieri and the line's flagship when she arrived in 2013. At about 142,700 gross tons she carries roughly 3,560 guests. Her design gave up some pool space for more venues, and she introduced the SeaWalk, walkways cantilevered out over both sides of the ship, along with a dancing fountain and a large outdoor movie screen. She was refreshed in a wet dock in Freeport, Bahamas, in December 2018. For 2026-27 she is based in Sydney, and in summer 2027 she sails weekly Inside Passage cruises from Seattle.
