About S.S. Catherine

S.S. Catherine is a 158-guest Super Ship, 443 feet (135 m) long, built for Uniworld in 2014 and deployed on the Rhône and Saône between Arles and Lyon. Its two-story lobby has a commissioned Murano glass chandelier and a life-size glass horse. Public rooms are named for painters tied to Provence, among them the Cézanne Restaurant, the Van Gogh Lounge and the Matisse Terrace at the bow, while the stern of the top passenger deck has a pool and the Bar du Leopard. Balcony rooms and suites on the Camargue Deck have glass that can be raised to close in the balcony, and some suites sleep three. Besides the weeklong Burgundy and Provence cruise, it carries the longer Grand France and Ultimate France itineraries.
