About Scenic Sapphire

Scenic Sapphire, from 2008, is the oldest ship in Scenic's river fleet and one of its first own-built Space-Ships, now assigned to France. She and Scenic Diamond carry fewer guests than the Central Europe ships, 147 in 74 suites, with a crew of 62, and add a Vitality Pool, a salt-therapy lounge, the L'Amour restaurant and Scenic Culinaire, a cooking-class venue used for market-to-table demonstrations. Sapphire sails the Rhône and Saône in the south of France, with cruises such as Spectacular South of France beginning and ending in Lyon. She was refurbished in 2024.
