About SeaDream I
SeaDream I is a yacht-style ship for 112 guests in 56 staterooms and suites, looked after by 95 crew. Wärtsilä built her in Helsinki, and she entered service in 1984 as Sea Goddess I, later sailing for Cunard and, from 2000, for Seabourn as Seabourn Goddess I before SeaDream's founder, Atle Brynestad, took her over in 2001. She and her twin were rebuilt for SeaDream's launch and upgraded again in 2023 and 2024. A watersports marina that lowers to the sea carries kayaks, paddleboards and other equipment, and the top deck has Balinese Dream Beds and the Top of the Yacht Bar. She spends winters in the Caribbean, mostly from San Juan and St. Thomas, with Norway and Northern Europe in summer 2027 and the Mediterranean in 2028.
