About ms Saudade
ms Saudade is an upcoming 80-meter riverboat being built by Scylla for Tauck's Douro program, due in 2027 as a sister to ms Andorinha. Tauck lists room for 84 guests and a crew of 43, in 12 Tauck Suites of 300 square feet, 20 cabins of 225 square feet, six of 200 square feet and four of 150 square feet. She keeps the features that suit the Douro, including hydraulic systems for its locks and a small pool on the Sun Deck, while Arthur's sits at the stern with views all around. Tauck says she will nearly double its Douro capacity and will introduce Essence of the Douro, a six-day cruise from Porto.
