Ultramarine

Ultramarine is Quark Expeditions' first wholly owned ship, built at the Brodosplit yard in Split, Croatia, and delivered in 2021. The 128-meter ship carries up to 199 guests with 140 staff and crew and is rated ice class 1A+ and Polar Class 6. Her signature features are two twin-engine Airbus H145 helicopters flying from two helidecks (not used on Svalbard voyages), a water-level hangar for 20 Zodiacs, a wraparound deck, a spa with steam room and sauna, and the glass-enclosed Panorama Lounge and Bar. She sails Antarctica, South Georgia and Patagonia from Ushuaia in the southern summer and the Arctic, including Svalbard, Greenland and Iceland, in the northern summer.
