Cruising with children on Celebrity Cruises

Celebrity’s children’s program is a useful option on its ocean ships, but it does not follow the brand onto every product. Choose the type of cruise before comparing cabins.

Children’s eligibility and programs

Celebrity lists Camp at Sea for toilet-trained children aged 3–12. Its FAQ says there is no nursery or drop-off care for children under three, and youth programming is not available on Celebrity Flora or Celebrity River Cruises.

Planning the trip together

For a preschooler, confirm that independent toilet use meets the club’s requirements. Parents travelling with a younger child should plan their own supervision rather than counting on a nursery. For a Galápagos or river holiday, evaluate the trip as shared family time. Check your ship’s dining and excursion choices so club hours are an option rather than a dependency.

What to check with Celebrity Cruises

  • Confirm youth programming on the exact ship.
  • Check toilet-training and age eligibility.
  • Verify itinerary-specific infant age rules.

Before paying a family cruise deposit

  • Give the line each child’s age on embarkation day and the exact itinerary before paying a deposit.
  • Confirm a bed for every guest, cot availability, and any connecting-cabin arrangement in the booked category.
  • Check passports, visas and consent documents for children travelling with one parent or another guardian.
  • Ask about club registration, independent toilet use, care hours, fees and age or height limits on activities.

Age rules, programs and availability can change. The cruise line’s current terms for your booking and departure govern your trip.
