American Eagle

American Eagle is a American Cruise Lines cruise ship of the Coastal Cat class, in service since 2023. She carries 100 guests. She sails Canada and New England itineraries.

About American Eagle

American Eagle is a 100-guest catamaran built in 2023 by Chesapeake Shipbuilding in Salisbury, Maryland, one of four Coastal Cats that opened American Cruise Lines' Project Blue series of small coastal ships. A shallow draft lets it reach small harbors and inland waterways, and it has four decks, an observation area at the bow, a sun deck, a fitness center and a platform at the stern used for a tender and water activities. Many cabins have private balconies. The name revives that of earlier, retired company ships. In 2026 it sails East Coast itineraries including the Inland Passage, the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay, and the Hudson River, and the line also lists it for New England.
