About Celebrity Eclipse
Celebrity Eclipse, the third Solstice-class ship, was delivered by Meyer Werft in April 2010 and christened by British yachtswoman Emma Pontin. In her first weeks she was sent to Spain to bring about 2,000 stranded British travelers home after the Eyjafjallajökull ash cloud closed UK airspace. She carries about 2,850 guests at double occupancy. In 2026-27 she sails Southern Caribbean cruises from Fort Lauderdale in winter and Scandinavia, Norwegian fjords and British Isles voyages from Amsterdam in summer, ending the season in the Mediterranean.
