About Celebrity Millennium
Celebrity Millennium, delivered in 2000, is the lead ship of the four-ship Millennium class and the oldest ship in the Celebrity fleet. She was the first cruise ship powered by a turbo-electric COGES gas-turbine plant and also introduced ocean-view glass elevators and the Olympic Restaurant, panelled with wood saved from the liner Olympic. Originally named Millennium, she took the Celebrity prefix in 2008 and was refurbished in a 35-day Singapore dry dock in 2019. She now sails Asia year-round, with Japan voyages from Tokyo for much of 2027 and winter trips from Singapore and Bali.
