About Celebrity Xcel
Celebrity Xcel, the fifth Edge-class ship, was floated out at Chantiers de l'Atlantique in January 2025, delivered in October 2025 and named at Port Everglades on 16 November 2025 by Brazilian chef Janaína Torres. She reworks several Edge-class spaces: the Bazaar replaces Eden as a destination-themed venue, and the Rooftop Garden restaurant has become Bora. She also brings back the X logo on the funnel. Her 2026-27 schedule pairs Caribbean cruises from Miami with Mediterranean voyages from Barcelona and Piraeus.
