About Havila Castor
Havila Castor, the second of the four sisters, was delivered by the Tersan yard in Turkey in April 2022 and made her maiden voyage on 10 May 2022. On 2 June 2022 she became the first cruise ship to sail the Geirangerfjord, a World Heritage area, without emissions, running on battery power. Like her sisters she is 124 meters long and 15,519 tons, with 179 cabins, space for 172 day travelers, a glass-roofed lounge and hot tubs heated with surplus energy. She sails round trips and one-way legs on the coastal route between Bergen and Kirkenes.
