Havila Polaris

About Havila Polaris
Havila Polaris was ordered from the Barreras yard in Spain, but when that yard ran into financial trouble the partly built hull was towed to Tersan in Turkey, which finished her. Her delivery was then held up by sanctions on the company financing the fleet until Havila won a license to refinance her; she left Turkey on 1 August 2023, reached Bergen on 15 August and took her first passengers at Bodø on 18 August. She shares her sisters' 124-meter LNG and battery-hybrid design, with 179 cabins, and sails the Bergen–Kirkenes coastal route.
