About MSC Poesia
MSC Poesia is a 92,627-ton Musica-class ship that entered service in 2008; Sophia Loren named her at Dover, the first MSC christening held outside Italy. A refit at Palumbo Malta Shipyard completed in April 2026 added a 69-suite MSC Yacht Club, the Butcher's Cut steakhouse, Kaito Sushi Bar and a redesigned spa and gym. She then opened MSC's first Alaska season with seven-night round trips from Seattle starting in May 2026. For winter 2026-27 she moves to Miami for 10- and 11-night Caribbean cruises, bookended by Panama Canal voyages between Seattle and Miami.
