About Ocean Adventurer
Ocean Adventurer is an ice-capable expedition ship built in 1975 at Kraljevica in what was then Yugoslavia as Alla Tarasova, and later sailed as Clipper Adventurer and, from 2012, Sea Adventurer. Quark chartered her for many years, mainly for Antarctic voyages; she carried 128 passengers and took her current name after a 2017 refit. Quark retired her from its fleet in October 2024 after a farewell season, replacing her with Ocean Explorer, and in 2025 she returned to Antarctica for the new operator Terra Nova Expeditions.
