About Silver Nova
Silver Nova, delivered by Meyer Werft in July 2023, is the first Evolution-class ship and Silversea's largest. Her asymmetrical layout offsets the engine casing to open up wider views, and her hybrid power plant combines liquefied natural gas, a fuel cell system and batteries so that she can run without emissions in port. She made her maiden voyage on 14 August 2023 and was formally named in January 2024, with chef Nina Compton as godmother. In 2026-27 she sails the Mediterranean, mostly from Piraeus, with a winter in the Caribbean and South America.
