About Star Legend
Star Legend is an all-suite Star Class yacht for 312 guests, completed in 1992 as Royal Viking Queen; she later sailed as Queen Odyssey and, from 1996 to 2015, as Seabourn Legend, which put her in the 1997 film Speed 2: Cruise Control. Windstar took her over in May 2015. Fincantieri in Palermo later lengthened her with a new midsection, work completed in May 2021 after delays caused by asbestos on Star Breeze and the COVID-19 pandemic. She sails mostly in the Mediterranean from Rome (Civitavecchia) and Barcelona, and spends winters in the Caribbean and on Costa Rica and Panama Canal voyages.
