Viking Annar
Viking Annar is a Viking River Cruises cruise ship of the Longship class, in service since 2026. She carries 190 guests with a crew of 53. She sails Rhine itineraries.
About Viking Annar
Viking Annar, a 190-guest Longship that joined the fleet in 2026, belongs to the large class of sister ships Viking introduced in 2012. Annar, its namesake, is a Norse earth figure remembered as the partner of the giantess Night and the father of Earth. Viking's 2026-2027 calendar has it mostly on Paris to the Swiss Alps, a Moselle and Rhine cruise from Trier to Basel framed by stays in Paris and Zurich. Its schedule also includes the Rhine Getaway between Basel and Amsterdam and Christmas on the Rhine market cruises. Like its sisters it has 95 outside staterooms, including two Explorer Suites with wraparound verandas, and a square bow that makes room for the indoor-outdoor Aquavit Terrace. It was delivered at Neptun Werft in Rostock-Warnemunde in June 2026, together with the Seine ship Viking Fjolvar.
