About Viking Anubis
Viking Anubis is an upcoming 82-guest Nile ship of the Osiris class, which Viking builds, owns and operates in Egypt. Anubis, its namesake, is the jackal-headed Egyptian god of embalming and the afterlife. It is one of the new Nile ships Viking said in 2025 would bring its Egypt fleet to 12 vessels by 2027; its first listed departure is a Pharaohs & Pyramids trip beginning September 4, 2027. Its announced program includes Pharaohs & Pyramids, which pairs hotel nights in Cairo with an eight-day Nile round trip from Luxor to Aswan. The design borrows from Viking's Longships, with a square bow, an indoor-outdoor Aquavit Terrace, a pool on the top deck and 41 staterooms that include two Explorer Suites.
