About Viking Atla

Viking Atla is a 190-guest Viking Longship, one of the 135-meter sister ships that make up most of Viking's European river fleet, and it entered service in 2013. Atla, the namesake, is one of the nine wave maidens, giantess daughters of the sea deities Aegir and Ran. For 2026 and 2027 Viking schedules it mainly on Romantic Danube cruises between Budapest and Regensburg. Its schedule also includes Christmas on the Danube sailings and Passage to Eastern Europe, a lower-Danube route between Bucharest and Budapest. The square-bowed design fits three full passenger decks under a sun deck with an herb garden, a putting green and a walking track.
